Hey everyone!
I'm currently assisting a small web project that's built on WordPress using a custom plugin. It's a visual tool that helps compare object heights side by side. Something like this: www.compareheight.net — it's a public-facing site, but our internal version has a more focused use-case.
We're trying to set up a workflow in Jira to track:
Does anyone here manage similar visual plugin projects with Jira? How do you structure your issues/tasks around visual output QA or plugin updates? Also, are there any apps from the Marketplace you'd recommend for this use-case?
Appreciate any insights from the community.
For reporting bugs and UI issues, consider either Forms or (better yet) Advanced Forms in Jira as the front-end of for that type of work intake.
For user interaction tests, I am going to assume you mean "how can I team use Jira to support their visually-oriented testing?". Marketplace Apps like "Tricentis Test Management" and "Zephyr" can enhance Jira to better support QA/testing folks with test steps, test suites (good for repeated regression testing), monitoring progress on a test suite, etc. It won't do comparisons or test for you directly, but it supports the humans doing the clicking and looking.
Not sure how to respond to your other questions. Hope that much helps!
