Excluding Zephyr Test Cases From Project Issues Overview Screen

We are using Zephyr for JIRA and have 1500+ test cases.

As you you have to leave the Status of a test case as 'Open', these test cases are included within the totals on the Issues Overview screen for a project.

This makes it very mis-leading as at a glance it looks as if there are 1500+ unresolved issues that require attention!! This of course defeats the pupose of the issues overview screen.

Is there a way to exclude any tests (issuetype = test) from this issues overview screen?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Graeme,

The Zephyr issue type Test is still a standard JIRA issue type which means it follows the same rules as other JIRA issue types. Are you able to add the issue type Test to your JIRA workflow? This would alow for you to close, etc, the Test issue type.

I didn't think you were meant to 'Close' a live 'Test' within JIRA?
