Currently, we are using Jira Forms for specific services within our organization - for example, external user administration. At present, when creating or modifying users, the details have to be entered manually in the form.
What we are specifically looking for is whether there is a way to upload data in an Excel format so that Jira Forms can automatically parse and populate the form fields. Entering requests line by line is not an ideal or scalable approach for us, especially since we often receive 30+ requests in a single batch
Hello @Madhu Sumala
Native no without touching JSON or Rest API.
For bulk creation, the native Jira/JSM option is the CSV importer, which can create or update work items from a CSV file.
So that or external APPS

Hi @Madhu Sumala ,
Just to be clear - are we talking about software/business forms or JSM forms? Any chance you can share an example of one form in Jira? Like, some things are possible with manipulating the CSV file you upload/use for the update, but it depends on what exactly you are trying to do.
If you could share one (dummy) example of how the process currently looks, that would be great. 👀
Cheers,
Tobi

Hello @Tomislav Tobijas ,
We are using JSM for one of the business handling area. At present this kind of service offers 10 items per ticket but manually. We are looking for an option if we can upload an excel with the details, so Jira can automatically parse them in Forms.
Thanks for your help!
