Excel Export issue: Failed - Network Error

Users get an download fail error when exporting project data from Jira. 

Failed - Network Error 

I'm new to supporting Jira, how do I resolve this? I've got a work around that I've provided, but it's not a long term solution. The work around is to remove any files in the download folder that contain the name of the extract being performed in Jira. It seems that if there isn't an existing file, the first export has no issues. If you go back to run a follow up export the issue presents and Failed - Network Error appears as the excel file status.

It indeed doesn't sound like a long-term solution. Are all of your colleagues exporting from the same Jira screen? What is common in their use cases?
