Is it possible to create something that does the following in Jira?

What I need is some type of alert list similar as to how you enter a meeting in the Outlook Calendar that can provides an alert with a certain time that the meeting is about to happen.  It needs to be a shared thing so multiple individuals can enter these events on a specific day and another group of individuals is alerted on the day the event is to take place.

You would have to use an app like scriptrunner or Jira clouds automation(https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/features/automation) for Jira to accomplish the notification.  Technically you could create an issue with a due date and when you are on the due dates day you could send a notification based on an automation or scriptrunner rule to all watchers that are on the issue.
