some of my co-workers described an Agile "Estimation Board" in a competing product that sounded really useful. Another one threw together a similar one with Trello, but that is really manual. I like the idea of emphasizing relative sizing by dragging Story tiles across a board of sizes.

Does anyone know of a way way to do something similar with Jira?  If not, Atlassian: please consider a feature like this.

An instinctive response to this was to look at Comala's Canvas product for JIRA.  You define a couple of variables as the X and Y axes and drag things around.  My brain suggested "t-shirt sizes" as the columns and rank for the rows.  I have not tried it at all, but it sounds like it might be a good stab at what you've described.
