Error "Something went wrong" when User is added

when i, as a site admin, try to add a user, the error "something went wrong - try again later" is shown. I already tried 5 hours ago with the same error. Sometimes, every 20th try is a success. 

I already tried switching browsers, incognito mode, restarting my computer, deleting the cache.

Hi @Miriam Kahl ,

Can you maybe share some details on how you are trying to invite the user? 

A few things you could check:

  • Check if the account already exists and if it's maybe suspended or deactivated
  • When inviting new user, try to leave the group blank. I believe there is/was some issue around that area. 👀
    Once you invite the user, just assign them to one or multiple groups.
  • Check licenses (and the limit)

You could also check the official Atlassian status for Admin Experience > although, based on the page, there are/were no active incidents or outages.

Apart from everything listed here, if you're site admin and you're on a paid plan, you could reach out to Atlassian Support and ask them to check what's going on.

the account does not already exist,

i leave the group blank, just give access to jira as a user, the licence limit is 200, we are currently at 160.

If it doesn't work tomorrow, i will contact the Atlassian support. Thank you

Today, there are no issues anymore. I don't know what went wrong, but it works now.
