Error parsing excel steps - When uploading scripts from the Clipboard

Hi

I'm uploading scripts created in Excel into JIRA and am receiving the following error message:

Error parsing excel steps

Error occurred while trying to parse the pasted excel steps

I've tried many formatting options incase there is something embedded in the original file and still keep getting the error.

It's strange because other scripts taken from the same file have uploaded ok?

Any ideas please?

What kind of script are you upload to jira, and where do you upload them exactly?

I'm uploading warehouse FAT test scripts into Wunderman Thompson JIRA Salmon webpage

I have the scripts in standard Excel format and am uploading them through the upload from clipboard option.  I've changed the format of the Excel file in case something is embedded in the data but I keep getting the 'Parsing Error' message.

The odd thing is that some scripts in the same file are being accepted over others?

When you say "Wunderman Thompson JIRA Salmon webpage", you mean this page? If so, then you are on Jira server and NOT on Jira cloud.

If you are on jira server, a server admin can pinpoint the issue with the upload file via log files.
