Hi,

I am new to JIRA and when trying to configure with MySQL database, getting the below error.

Error connecting to database

null, message from server: "Host '<servername>' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server"

JIRA Version atlassian-jira-software-7.2.1-x64

Your mysql server is configured to refuse connections from the JIRA server.  You'll need to go over the server settings on the database side and reconfigure it to allow connections.
