Hello,
We do not currently attach the Sprint to an associated Epic and only move Stories and Bugs into our Sprints. We are currently looking for a way to view the number of Epics that currently have an associated Story/Bug in the current sprint.
I see this quick total number on the side of the Active Sprint board in the insight section, but this only gives us the total number. Ideally, we would like to see a report on this so we can drill into the specific Epics.
Does anyone know a way to accomplish this or a filter setup to pull this in?
Hello @Riley Piper
Welcome to the Atlassian community!
There is not a native feature that enables you to get the parent Epics of a set of issues where you select the issue based on criteria; i.e.
issue in parentsOf("sprint ='Sprint 21'")
This can be accomplished with third party apps though. Do you have any third party apps that extend Jira searching capabilities, or are you open to acquiring such and app?
Hey @Trudy Claspill ,
Thanks for the quick response, even though it was not the answer I was hoping for. At this time, we are not able to explore third party apps or additional acquisitions for our Atlassian package.
