Epics and stories from filter

I have created my own filter in JIRA. Now I want to create epics and stories from that filter. I am unable to do that. I have searched the community and couldn't find the right lead. Could any one of you please help me put here.

In short, " I am unable to create epics and stories from filter"

What are you expecting to do when you way "create epics and stories from filter"?

A filter is a search for a list of issues. It doesn't create anything. So I'm not sure what behaviour you are expecting to see?

Could you explain what you're looking for - could you explain it in terms like "I run this filter and do X to create an issue"?
