Dear collegues,

I was following this page answer: Could not find a Custom Field Configuration for field 'customfield_xxx', all projects and issue type 'x' -- therefore cannot find the Option for 'Done' epics. - Atlassian Documentation
here ;

But I cannot see in the Admin page, Configuration option for Epic Status only [View] and [Screens].

Someone can give a help?

Best Regards Maikes

Hello @Maikes ,

The Epic Status Field is a special system field that is not meant to be modified unless it encounters and error like the one you are seeing, and because of this it is locked by default which is why only "View" and "Screens" options are visible in the Actions Cog drop down.

In the KB you linked Step one notes another KB to follow with the steps to unlock the field:

1. If your JIRA Agile fields are locked from editing, please follow this document to unlock it.

This process requires an application shutdown and database modification before the field can be, modified via the settings. DB modifications always carry a level of risk as well so make sure to backup the database incase a roll back is required, and let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Earl
