Epic Screen Scheme

Good morning,

I

I created a project quick filter for issue type = epics.  Images above show filter, filter results reflecting epic with story points however epic screen scheme does not include story points field.  So why is this one epic showing story points?  What am I missing?

Check for the History Tab, it seems issue was originally created as Story with Story Points and later moved to Epic.

Secondly, it is possible that Default value for Story Points is set to 5.

Check the history tab and see....

- Was the issue always an epic? If it started off as something else and was moved, it could have been set prior to the move.

- Was it always in this project? It's possible another project put the field on there (cannot speak to why though 😁).

- Was it bulk updated? You can update a field via bulk edit even when that field is not present on a create or edit screen.
