Epic Link on User story Takes me to another Epic

I created Epics and added all the stories, I later on changed and mapped the issue type screen scheme to that of an already existing project. Now when I open a story and click on the Epic link associated with it, it takes me to a different Epic.
Any way to resolve this as soon as possible?
