Epic Link/Label shows for some Epics/Stories but not all

Deleted user

In our Kanban board, we have some Stories that show their respective Epic label, and others that do do not.

All tickets are under the same Project. The only variable we've identified to explain is that if the user story is already created before linking to the Epic, then they don't show with the label/tag. If the story is created from within the Epic, then there's no issue.

Does anyone know if this is expected behavior? Is there a workaround?

Hi @[deleted] ,

It should not matter whether you created an issue before or after you've created the story. My first impression is that your index is not valid anymore. So try to re-index  your project (or re-index the Jira instance).
