Epic Burnup with Completed Points, Projected Completion, and Total Points
Hi there! My teams are currently using Kanban boards, so we no longer have access to the epic reports that come built-in with Jira/Scrum boards.
I was able to get something close using the "Advanced Burndown Chart Dashboard Item" app. This app's epic burnup gives us a line graph for the real number of issues completed over time, along with an "ideal" number to reach the total number of points in the epic in the allotted timeframe.
What we're missing is a line for total points as they're added to the epic, not as they're completed. Since we're using Kanban, points are added to work fairly ad hoc and not necessarily far in advance.
I realize this is sort of a mixed use case and not ideal. We're somewhere in the middle of Kanban and Scrum in our processes, so finding a chart that meets our needs has been tricky. This is a rough sketch of what we're after:
