Within the same Jira project, can I enforce certain fields to be required based on the specific component?

Hi Alex,

You can't do that out of the box. An add-on like Scriptrunner would allow you to achieve that. However, maybe if you explain your actual goal there could be a different approach. For example maybe a different issue type would be manageable?
