Ending Active Sprint

I tried to follow the instructions for ending a Sprint, but there is NO 'Active Sprint' in the sidebar.

Here are few things to check, but are you able to provide some screenshots to help us (can blur the ticket details)?

1. Check the board you're accessing is a "Sprint" board and not a "Kanban" board

2. Check the backlog to see if a sprint has been started, if not, can you start a new sprint?

Welcome to the community!

Do you see a sprint in your Backlog? More than likely it was never started and hence you do not see Active Sprint in the side column.
