'Email this issue' - How do I handle incoming mails when the sender is not a customer?

Hi all!

I am using the add-on "Email this issue" for a service desk project. I am using this because sometimes I need information from an external party. So, when a customer raises a request, via the add-on I will mail a third party with a question about the issue. This works fine with the add-on. But when the third party replies the mail, I don't know how to configure the mail handler. Now, I would just like to see the received mail in the correct issue.

But when I try to do this I get an error because this third party has no permission to edit the issue or comment on the issue. I checked the permissions in the project but everything should work.

This is what I get:

Hi Micha,

The user that creates the issues from the email should have all the permissions as a normal user.

First, try to login as the user you have configured in your handler to create a issue manually, if you can't the handler can't. It seems the problem is with a comment, maybe the handler is creating the issues in a jira service desk project and it needs service desk permissions?

Regards
