Email notifications stopped

I have not been receiving email notifications since last year April, however I do receive notifications via the Jira mobile application but this is not my preferred mode. I have tried everything with help of my colleagues, with no joy. Please can someone assist me.

PS: I receive Confluence email notifications

Have you tried the Notification helper to see if you get more details on why it may not be working? https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-the-jira-admin-helper/

Unfortunately I do not have access to admin, I have contacted a few people within my organisation, yet no one can sort the problem out. This seemed to stopped after a new project was added (April 2021)
