Email attachments in Jira issues

Hi

Normally if you open an email attachment on a Jira issue, a pop up is opened with the content of the email.

Is it possible to open the attachment using outlook or download the EML file?

Hi @VLTKIM , great question! Out of the box, there isn't a way to open from Jira Cloud to Outlook directly or to download the .eml file directly from the issue.

If you're a project administrator of a JSM project, you can go to Settings > Channels & Self-Service > Email and view the incoming email logs. In that spot, you can download the raw email files.
