We created a new email address yesterday and tried to create a BitBucket account, but our server's Dynamic Recipient Verification thought the address didn't exist, so it bounced the verification email back to Atlassian. We have tried to get new verification emails since we got the server to accept it as a valid email address, but we are not seeing them even hit the incoming filters so we figured the address might be blocked.
The email address in question is MCV@techguides.com.
If we could get this email address unblocked so we can receive the verification email that would be greatly helpful.
I found your address was having an error message of
450 4.2.0 <***@techguides.it>: Recipient address rejected: Greylisted, see http://postgrey.schweikert.ch/help/techguides.it.html
While I have removed this suppression from our mail system, it is possible that this other url in the SMTP error message of https://postgrey.schweikert.ch/help/techguides.it.html might explain further. It would appear that this mail server is using this service to prevent spam. You might want to reach out to your mail administrator to inform them of this message.
Andy
That's strange, because the spam filter let it through just fine when I created one for my own address.
I just tried to sign up for an account again using mcv@techguides.it and our system is not even seeing an email to be accepted/rejected by the spam filter.

Thanks for that info. I was able to remove the suppressions for 2 other accounts on your domain. Try to resend the invitation again. One of those generated an SMTP error of
550 5.1.1 ...@... Recipient address rejected: {hash} address: host techguides-it.mail.protection.outlook.com[a.b.c.d] said: 550 5.4.1 Recipient address rejected: Access denied. AS({hex}) [DM6NAM10FT091.eop-nam10.prod.protection.outlook.com] (in reply to RCPT TO command)
We have seen that error can be common with office 365 accounts. Daniel created an article about this topic over in
I recommend reviewing those steps as a means to help prevent these kinds of bounce messages.

We got it! I sent another verification email and now it went through.
Thanks for all your help everyone!

Andy, I think there is another suppression request on one of our accounts.
It would be [redacted]
Can you check if there is a suppression and remove it if there is?
We had someone create a new email and never restarted the Postfix in SpamTitan, so the emails weren't being seen as a valid address, but they didn't know that so they requested a bunch of verification emails I'd assume.

I have removed the suppression on this address.

Hi Mikael,
Do you know if the team has gotten a chance to remove the email from the list?
I have not heard from them at all if they were going to contact me.
Thank you!
