We are wanting to adjust the Senders name to be generic without having to adjust each profile to the same name..
This is so that our customers only see one name and not the name of the person who is going to work on their case.
By default there isn’t and agent name in the email so this must have been added in your instance. Go to project > project settings > customer notifications and edit the appropriate notifications to remove the variable that would include the agent’s name. Now if you want a “generic” name you could place actual text vs. a variable that pulls a name from a field but I would simply leave off any name.
i think this is regarding the information within the mail.
Is there a way to have a default name "XXXX team" as the sender of the mail for every case? Currently the team members name is the sender of the mail but it should be more like: XXX team <jira@XXXX.atlassian.net> for every generated mail in case of a comment or anything else to a case. the name of the person who worked on the case should not be visible.
