Email Notification templates are same after upgrade

Hi ,

We are currently using jira 5.0.7. In release notes it was mentioned from jira 5.0 the email notification templates had changed. But still we are able to see the mail view as it was in jira 4.4. we have tested the same with jira 6.1.7. There also we can see the same view.

Mmm, that looks like a standard text email, which haven't changed much. You might want to explain what you're expecting to change! Also, have you ever customised the templates?

No i haven't customized templates.

Er, you're mixing up text and html emails.

Your first picture is a text email. The second is html. Change which you want to recieve in your profile.

ohh... i didnt know there was an option for text/html for emails :-(

Now i got it...because by default jira set to text emails.
