Hi all,
I want to edit the default workflow to include a status of testing so I want my workflow to be the followings
To Do In progress Development Done Ready for Testing Testing Ready for Production
Can you help me in figuring out the transitions I need to create and the correct logic of doing this?
Ruba
Hi
Not sure if this helps
Hi @Ruba ElNasser,
Jira default workflow can't be edited. Please refer
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/jira-default-workflow-changed-776658196.html
You can create new/custom workflow and add the required status and transitions

Hi!
One way is:
1. Copy exist workflow
2. Adjust (add status - > and one the status -> check the checkbox "Allow all statuses to transition to this one" or create other transition)
3. Finally, associate it
About transition: you can use many to one, or one to one with reuse functionality

@Sreenivasaraju P Thanks for your reply but do you apply testing as status in your company, if yes, could you please just share a screen shot of the workflow just to have a clue how status and transitions connected when we add testing to the workflow.
