Editing field configurations very cumbersome and difficult

Brian Franzen
November 11, 2016

Hiding a few fields in a few different field configurations is a nightmare.  You have to open each field config, click Hide, and wait for ages.  Then move on to next field and do the same, before restarted the entire nightmare on the next field config set.

Please fix this

Atlassian are fully aware of the complexities of schemes.  The reason they have evolved is that they give you great power and flexibility, but they have  grown too complex.

There is a project in progress to review and revise how schemes are presented and implemented.  It's not going to be fast, there's a LOT to look at, but scheme handling is going to change over the next couple of years.  A lot.

Personally, I tend to avoid doing it with field configurations.
