Edit summary after issue has been created

Hi all

 

We use the service portal with our customers. When we create an issue we define the request type so we can create tickets and then add "Request participants". If we wouldn't do that, we couldn't add any customers after creating a ticket ourselves.

The only problem we have with this, is that you can't edit the summary once the ticket is created. Often we need to change the summary (because of type errors or maybe we want to change the description that the apprentice has made).

How can I enable the editing of the summary?

Welcome to the community!

Do you have separate screens for Create, Edit and View for this issue/ request type?

If so, please ensure that you have 'Summary' field in both Edit screen as well so that enables you to edit the field accordingly.

You were right. I didn't have the "summary" in the "Edit issue" screen.

 

I'm very happy this works now.
