Edit Sprint Goal of a Sprint that has already started (Bug?)

I am trying to edit the Sprint Goal of a sprint that has started today. Upon editing the Sprint Goal textbox, this error won't go away and won't proceed to update:

The end date of a sprint must be after the sprint start date.

I wasn't trying to edit the sprint end date, and have successfully set the end date before starting the sprint. Why is this happening and how can this issue be resolved?

Recreation Steps:

1. Click "Edit Sprint" from the Backlog View.
2. Edit Sprint Goal text box.
3. Click Update button.
4. Close modal
5. Open Board View
6. Click "Edit Sprint" from Board View
7. Edit Sprint Goal text box. (Same modal will appear)
8. Click Update button.

Welcome to the Community!!

You should have either Manage Sprints Permission or a Jira Administrator Permission in order to edit Sprint Goal. If you have the permission then I'm guessing it's just a network disconnection or something. Can you try manually adding the Sprint start date, end date, save it and let me know if you are still facing the issue?

Thanks for the welcome!

It still hasn't worked as of the moment. I checked my internet and it is working fine. I am an administrator of the project and created it myself. Is it safe to assume that I have all the permissions enabled by default?

I don't know if this information is helpful, but I should also note that our team is using the free version of Jira.
