Hi all
How do i add/edit Issue Categorys on jobs within JIRA?
EG: Under the Laptop category, we have Warranty, Insurance, Return, etc etc and was hoping to add some new ones and remove some unnecessary ones.
Google hasnt clarified anything, any help would be appreciated.

You can not do this. Issues are either open, in progress, or done. There are no categories that make any sense (there's a good argument for "blocked", but it still resolves down to "in progress" when you work it through).
So, your list of status, is, a list of status at best. Actually, it does not even look like status, it looks like components or a custom field, because it looks like a list of types of thing you are trying to work with, rather than a process for them. Certainly not categories.
I currently have these set up - from the initial setup about a year ago, i cant find where these fields were added.
Custom Fields - Category is LOCKED already so it wasnt edited there.
Issue Category is on the Configure Screen option so the field has to be somewhere, its just not obvious where/how to change this.
