When trying to add a Task Repository I am receiving the exception.

Exceeded maximum number of allowed redirects during login

Does it happen when you click validate button? Can you look at your JIRA intallation and/or infrastructure? Is there anything which can cause additional redirects when trying to access JIRA?

Unfortunately I can't look at the JIRA installation. The JIRA installation is 3.13. I know there is an apache redirect over https. A little history here is that connecting to the JIRA server previously worked with an older version of the ide-connector.

I have looked into the code and as far as I can see we allow for 3 redirects. It did not change recenlty and was there since vesion 2.0.

Which version do you mean by 'an older version of the ide-connector'? Is it earlier than 2.0?

I have raised https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/PLE-1321 to increase the number of allowed redirects.
