Have you encountered this error in other browsers as well? Is this behavior consistent across other colleagues' machines? If so, it would be advisable to submit a ticket to Atlassian Support for additional troubleshooting.

I've tried in chrome, safari both have the same issues, but my colleagues don't seem to have this problem

 

is it to do with permission not granted for me on that page properly?

Certainly, it's a good idea to verify with the Board Admin if you're unable to access the Board filter. Additionally, comparing permissions between your account and your colleagues' accounts on the project could be helpful.
