Hi there,
I have migrated over our team Kanban Board into a Scrum board, so that we can use sprints - and everything migrated well other than the EPICS. They now seem to contain a Column titles against them ie (To do, Done etc)

Is there a reason for this, and can I remove it as it is a little confusing for everyone.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Lee Masen  -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Just to confirm, you are using a NextGen project, correct?

If so, I believe that is built-in behavior for the NextGen boards and cannot be removed.  That status indicator does not occur on the Classic project boards.

My guess is NextGen projects were intended to make things much simpler, so there is less configuration and setup work for them.  Including, altering the way epics are managed; someone probably thought this was the way to show the overall epic progress for the child items.

Best regards,
Bill
