E-mails keep getting imported and creating new items

Hello,

I have 2 questions;

1. We have set up the function to receive and process emails, creating items (issues) on our backlog.
https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/creating-issues-and-comments-from-email-779288896.html

The problem we now have is that Jira keeps importing the same e-mail. It gets the e-mails directly from the inbox of an office 365 mailbox (we tried IMAP and POP3).
The e-mails are being imported very fast, creating a new item on our backlog.
But after about 2-3 hours a new item is being created based on the same e-mail. This process repeads itself untill i remove the e-mail to a subfolder manually.

We have looked at all the setting but could not found import settings where you can control the behaviour. With other applications there are sometimes setting where you can control that only unread items are imported, or mails are being removed or transferred to another folder after import. But within the Jira setting i was not able to find this.

2. The imported e-mails contain images and attachments, but Jira does not add these to the created items. I was also not able to find any relevant settings for this.

I hope somebody can help.
