E-mail group as incoming mail handler?

Hello!

We have some Gmail groups and is it possible to use them as an incoming mail handler or I can use it with user accounts only?

Jira Cloud incoming email can only be configured with an IMAP or POP email server, so I believe it does not accept a google group or any distribution list as the incoming email address.

Anyway, could you please confirm what are you trying to achieve exactly?

I mean, if you only require a specific Google group to receive the email request, you can use the catch email address parameter to require the google group to be added in the email to allow the creation of the issue.
