Duplicat e-mail search

Mark Cogan

Recently my office expanded our operations to support a larger user base.  During this time we created a number of Jira Internal Directory accounts for users to be able to access our system while we processed their transition to our internal LDAP system.

Is there a way to search for duplicate accounts with the same e-mail address?  This would be inside of Jira or command line DB search from our Linux instance.  This is to be sure that if a user is listed in our LDAP / AD that their Jira Internal Directory account is removed or disabled.  I can do this manually, but there are chances of missing something.  It would be better to have a script that can show me any duplicate entries so I can clean them up.
