Hi- Complete newbie to Jira. I have an Epic associated to an issue. How would I track the overall issue due date (that I don't want changed for visibility) from the due date I'm asking client to provide their review by?

If the issue is client facing and it's due for completion on 6/28, but I need info from the client first, how would I set their due date on the issue and still have overall visibility with the overall project due date? Trying to keep this as simple as possible without making more issues/work for anybody.

Thanks!!

Hi, @Jessica Anderson !

If i correctly understand your case,

you can create new custom field (date picker), where you will set a date of getting info from the Client- look throught this article.

standart field "due date" - will be your project`s due date.

Also you can create a new filter and subsribe on it to control new date to call Clients etc.
