Dragging Subtasks up or down a status column in the Active Sprint Board has stopped working for us. I logged this with Atlassian Support and they are requesting evidence that it used to work and refer me to a Feature Request for an unrelated issue. Are you also no longer able to drag a Subtask up or down the Active Sprint Board n order to re-order it? For us it jumps back to it's previous position or even to some other random place. This is having a serious impact on our work as we can no longer re-order Subtasks in order of priority.
Hi @Kevin ,
Re-ordering subtasks has only ever been possible when you have more than 1 subtask for a given task/story, and even then you can only reorder them compared to the other subtasks under that task/story
Hi Stephen, thank you for the reply. We do have several Subtasks under a given Story. We have many Stories and many Subtasks in fact. However on the Active Sprint Board when we try drag and drop one of this Subtasks (under a Story) it moves to the new position as expected as it always did then 1 second later it jumps back to where it was, if I try move it again it jumps to some other random position. It worked correctly up until a week ago. We re-order Subtasks by Priority every day in Standup, but no longer can. I would add a screen recording here if I could add attachments.

Here is a screen recording of a 'Test' Story with several Subtasks under it. Notice how I re-order the Subtasks and they 'jump' back to where they were, or to some other random place.

I have found a pattern to this bizarre behaviour. If I re-order the Subtask and move it to a particular place it jumps back to where it was but if I move it again, to the same place it stays there, if I try move it again it moves to where it originally was, this behaviour is consistent.
