Downtime while transferring products to another organisation

We want to transfer Jira and Confluence cloud sites from one organisation to another. While we did a mock test, we did not experience any downtime in this process as I believe there was no data to transfer in the background since we used two mock accounts to do this. 

For the final migration, is it possible that there will be downtime in this process for the products which are being migrated? if so how to determine the downtime period.

As you can see in our official documentation for transfer products to another organization, there is no downtime while performing the organization change:

• Users will keep the same product access permissions for the transferred products.

• Users won’t encounter downtime or loss of access.

Additionally, there are no incidents reported about downtime during the transfer of products, so you can do it with no worries.

Additionally, I suggest you take a look at the official documentation below before performing the transfer, to make sure you have configured all the prerequisites for the change and also be aware of what will/will not change in your user management:
