HI, I was asked by someone -

what is the state called when a bug gets resolved by the developer and comes back  to the tester. I said its "Reopened". The interviewer doesnt seem to be happy. and asked what is the status called after its resolved again. I said its in for "Retesting".

Am i wrong? Can someone pls explain the workflow statuses?

No, you're not wrong.

The workflow status should reflect your process.

The default status are provided as a guideline, but if they're wrong for your process, go ahead an change them.

Re-opened in the defaults really does mean "we closed this, but then re-opened it because we realised it should not be closed any more as it needs more work"
