Done status

Hi everyone,

Please help me with the following question:

In my Jira project I have 2 Done Statuses -  Done (completed) and Done (transition), which is a bit confusing for the team. They don’t know what is better to use and What is the difference between this two.

I recommend pausing to learn why there are two status values in the done column, with those specific names.  The history may help decide next steps, and...

As the team seems confused by them, perhaps they are a hold-over from an earlier need, and one can be removed from the board.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

To me it sounds like the easiest way to clear up this confusion is by renaming your Status of Done (completed) to Completed or Closed.

Thanks but the thing is that when I go to the workflow page there is only one Done status so nothing to delete or clear but when I want to change the task's status in the drop down I see 2 "Done"s and 2 "In progresses"((
I think  this  is some how connected with the status/transition/resolution confusing stuff.
