Hi. I am using a Scrum board. When I completed sprint 1, all the 'Open and Done' issues in Sprint 1 moved to Sprint 2.
So, in the 'Done' column of the board, I am seeing the issues completed in the current sprint (sprint 2) along with the issues completed in Sprint 1. Furthermore, the 'Done' items that moved from the previous to the current sprint have both sprints assigned to them.
I want to be able to set the process in a way that it only shows the current sprint issues on the board, and all the issues have only a single sprint assignment.
I'm afraid you can't do that at the moment. If you removed the "old" sprint from the field, you'd destroy all the tracking and metrics you've got for the old sprint. Issues currently need to be able to keep multiple sprints in the sprint field.
Hi @rupinder.kaur ,
Is the Done column the last column on your board? That is what determines if the issues move to the next Sprint or not, not the actual status.

Hi @John Funk No, it is not. Here's how the columns are arranged on the board:
Inbox | In Progress | Done | Closed
The workflow that's set up is default and allows moving a ticket to any status (the columns).
There are tickets that might sometimes move directly to 'Closed' status while others follow 'Inbox -> In Progress -> Done'.
I want both types of tickets to have only one sprint attached to them. Do you think there is a way out to do that?
Thanks in advance!

The only issues that will be considered "resolved" or closed" are issues that are in the final column - regardless of status name. So issues in the Done column will still get moved to the next sprint.
