I am planning to purchase the paid Jira plan (Standard) but I want to have gadgets similar to projectrak in my dashboard. Currently, Jira only have the project-level gadgets unlike projectrak which has gadgets to summarize all my projects data.
This is an excellent question that highlights a key difference between native Jira reporting and what Project Portfolio Management (PPM) apps like Projectrak provide.
Since you are looking to replicate Projectrak's cross-project summary gadgets, the solution lies entirely in the Atlassian Marketplace.
To get gadgets that aggregate and display project-level data across your entire Jira instance (like Projectrak does), you need an app that adds custom Project Properties and dedicated Project Gadgets.
Some of Jira’s native gadgets can also use a filter as their data source. This allows you to include issues from multiple projects, as long as your filter uses a JQL query like the following:
project IN (ProjectA, ProjectB, ...)
But for effective tracking, you’ll need more flexible and advanced gadgets for cross-project visibility. In this case, the best solution is to explore apps on the Atlassian Marketplace that provide the gadgets you need.
