Hi Atlassian community,
I am a complete novice to the JIRA licensing model and need some help. I have the following scenario:
I have 3 scrum teams working on a project totaling 30 users who need full access to the project board. There will also be approx 50 customers who will need view only access.
My questions are:
a) Do customers require a JIRA license to have a view only access to the project board?
b) Will a standard license do for what I need or should I go for the premium license?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Zaheer
Hi @zaheer_akhtar - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
a) Yes, users would require a license to be able to see the board.
b) Standard license would work fine.
Hello @zaheer_akhtar
As @John Funk informed that to see the board, a license is required. Alternatively, you can filter the result set and send it to the customer base as an email. This can be scheduled and would not require licenses.
