Does a member add another member without admin rights?

I am using Jira for quite a time for project management. I have given members access to some of the clients.

Recently, I had one incident. One of our clients has directly added her team-mate to our project even if she was having only the member access. 

Can you please help me with how this access works?

Hi @Citrusbug As per the query , The client added that member must be in one of  the users .

So, Yes , he/she can add a team member to the project through the People tab  in the dashboard .

      

This will not affect your security and the added  team member will not be able to see the privacy also . he /she can just be a part of that particular project.

Hi @Citrusbug let me know Are you able to see Project setting tab in the team managed and check with the Access Tab . If you are a member then you will not be able to edit the permission or can u share some screenshot for more clarity??
