Does MS SQL server 2016 support JIRA 7.7 version ?

Hello Team ,

 

WE are running JIRA database on MS SQL Server 2014 and we want to upgrade it to MS SQL Server 2016  and we are running on JIRA 7.7 version . Can we upgrade this DATABASE SQL Server to 2016 ?

Hi Digamber,

Jira 7.7 supports 2012 and 2014. Starting in Jira 7.9, 2016 was supported.

If you want to upgrade to 2016 I would also encourage you upgrade to Jira 7.9 or higher to have full support.
