I have created a report using the two dimensional chart to compare epics vs bugs. The idea to see per release how much is the team is dedicated to working on fixing production bugs (not productive) vs non-bugs (productive). One of the problems that I have face there is no way to distinguish between prod bugs vs bugs found in testing. All issues are tag to a fixed version release thus the report pulls all bugs. The solution I would propose would be to only tag production bugs to fixed release version. However, this does resolve the issue pulling reports against prod bugs versus internal bug findings.
1) Is there a way to build customize reports in Jira?
2) Does Jira have an option to distinguish the environment where bugs were found?
Hi @starryeyes
Take a look on eazyBI reporting application with JIRA integration. It will perform regular import from JIRA and will create several pre-defined sample reports as well as you can create custom reports using any standard JIRA fields as well as selected custom fields. You can create reports, charts and dashboards in easy drag-and-drop style.
Now also installable eazyBI reports and charts plugin for JIRA is available from Atlassian Marketplace.
Thank yo for the response. However, I am looking for a report that can be created for free. I need to develop this report asap. This plug-in will require my employer to purchase the application

Also.... reports like this are not exactly ground breaking. Surely we should not have to spend more money to get something that really should be a standard offering.
But hey.... that is Atlassian for you! Bare minimum unless more money. And then it will likely be even more money for another thing to make this thing work!
