Does Jira / Atlassian work in China?

When attempting, the page will time out.

Response: This site can’t be reached atlassian.net took too long to respond.

Any suggestions other than use the product outside of China or via VPN would be appreciated. 

Else is there a declaration that it will not work.

we have clients in China who are able to access our confluence as well as jira

Hello,

I remember in my Scrum Certification trainings, that our Agile Coach works from China and he was able to do all work in JIRA. I recommend to check your firewall or reach out to your networking team, they can help in trouble-shooting the issue.

It does, yes.  

The "declaration" is a caveat - it is subject to the Great Firewall

And it has been known to get blocked by that sometimes.
