Does HipChat Data Center integrate with on-premise JIRA Software?

We are on JIRA Software v7.2.4 on-premise server.  We are interested in HipChat, but now it is only being offered as HipChat Data Center.

Will I still be able to integrate these two tools (keeping JIRA Software on-premise and using HipChat in Data Center)?

Is there any issues, concerns, etc I should consider before trying HipChat Data Center with our install?

Hi Karen,

You can still integrate HipChat Data Center with JIRA Software Server.   HipChat Data Center is a self-hosted product (like JIRA Software Server) that is either deployed to VMWare or on AWS.
