A solutions document disappeared from the software project page. It was created using Jira "Project pages" and was previously accessible through the "Project pages" on the project sidebar. Since the document is no longer visible through Jira, I tried the emailed link but resulted in a 401 error message. I subsequently created a Confluence account hoping to locate the document another way, but the email link led to a message that the document could not be found. As the project admin, what detailed steps would I take to retrieve this very important document?  Thank you for your assistance.

Hi @Wendy Roy and welcome to the Community!

The pages you see in project pages in Jira are normally indeed coming from a linked space that is actually in Confluence. From that perspective, trying to get access to Confluence and that specific space is a good starting point.

From what you describe, everything seems to indicate that the page itself is definitely not where it used to be anymore. It may have been moved to a different space or someone may have deleted it.

Assuming that you know the page title, first of all I would suggest to search for the page in Confluence. If it is not found, navigate to space settings in the space that has the other project settings and locate Trash on the Manage Content tile. If your page was deleted, there is a good chance that it is still there. If so, you can click the restore link to bring it back.

Hope this helps!
