Do I not have the permission to create a plan / advanced roadmap at all?

Hello!

first of all, I have to apologize for my question, but I am completely new to Jira and still trying to get a little bit into it! :)

For my team, I have to create an advanced roadmap for a project. Unfortunately I can´t ask our software-team, so I hope you can help me.

I am wondering, whether I have the permission to create that plan at all (picture). I watched a few tutorials on Youtube, where it said there should be an option underneath the option "view plans". So what shall I do then?

Hi @[deleted] , welcome to the community.

By default only admins will be able to create plans.please refer to this article - set-permissions-in-advanced-roadmaps

you will need to contact an admin to change permissions.
